RAF Alpine Skiing
| Ski MK Race Team and the RAF Alpine Skiing Squad have teamed up to provide access to UK based training for members of the RAF Alpine Skiing Squad and assist with race sessions at Snozone MK. |
RAF Alpine Skiing - Pooling resources to access world class training at a regular and more affordable cost for UK wide RAF Alpine Ski Racers with the aim to improve our members skiing and to promote racing along side our SMK skiers.
SMK are pleased to welcome new RAF Alpine Ski Racers as members to train on weekly basis - or for those who can not attend regularly, we have established an Associate Membership to allow RAF Alpine Ski Racers take part in periodic training and races.
RAF Alpine Skiing Membership Options
Membership runs from 1 November until 31 October.
We have created four levels of membership for RAF Alpine Ski racers :
SMK Membership (FULL) - For those racers who will be training (and taking part in internal race series) with RAF Alpine Ski on a regular basis (ie more than 10 events per membership year). The annual membership at present is £50.00 per membership year or £40.00 for early renewals (membership price correct as for 2020/21 year).
SMK RAF Alpine Skiing Associate Membership - For those racers who will be taking part in periodic VI training sessions and invitational races (ie less than 10 events per membership year). The annual membership for this level is £10.00 per membership year (membership price correct as for 2020/21 year).
SMK RAF Alpine Skiing Guest Coaches - To comply with insurance requirements we require all Visiting Coaches to Register their membership with SMK. Guest Coaches membership is free for a membership year. We will contact each Guest Coach to obtain copies of relevant certification (membership price correct as for 2020/21 year).
In addition to Membership, a training fee and Snozone slope fee will be also required. In addition Slope Pass fees are paid direct to Snozone and Snozone Members receive a SMK 2 hour training session slope pass for the price of £18.99 (2019 rates). Non-Snozone Members 2 hour training session slope pass are £31.99 (2019 rates). All slope fees must be paid in advance to Snozone and Slope Passes are available from the Snozone Main Desk and slope passes must be worn and visible at all times.
